Eddy Curry’s Motown Diet?

Friday, April 17th, 2009

Thank

We hope the court is re-inforced

Confusingous read a report on Fannation.com where they cited an article in the New York Post that stated that Eddy Curry was going to Detroit to seek out the help of a nutritionist in order to lose weight and be in shape so that he may fit in his uniform for next season.

While the article itself is humorous, our Resident Seer chuckled most at this comment on the post from Don_C in Monroe, MI:

‘Is he going to watch tapes of 2008 Lions games? That would make me want to throw up – and I would probably lose weight.’

Hopefully it won’t include the ‘highlight’ of Dan Orlovsky rolling out into the back of the endzone. Finally, a UConn football player in the NFL gets on SportsCenter!

Hasheem, say it ain’t so …

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Thanks Femalefan.com!

Hasheem Wallpaper’s days are numbered it appears!

You may remember Confusingous’ plee to Hasheem Thabeet a few days back. You remember that he had Hasheem’s best interest at heart.

It seems that Hasheem does not have Confusingous’ best interest at heart. As reported yesterday, it appears he will forgo his senior year and test the waters of the NBA Draft.

As he is only in the process of interviewing agents, his picture is still on the desktop. But, Our Resident Seer has his finger on the trigger. When he signs on the dotted line, Frank Zappa goes back up!

Goodbye to Harry Kalas

Monday, April 13th, 2009

It is with much sadness that Confusingous must report the unexpected passing of Harry Kalas.

It was less then a week ago that Our Resident Seer dined at the restaurant named in his honor at Citizens Bank Park.

The Ford C. Frick Award Winner called the Phillies action from 1971 until his passing.

Calhoun to return to UConn for 2009-10 season!

Friday, April 10th, 2009

AP

Several outlets have reported the return of Jim Calhoun to the coaching post at Connecticut for the 2009-10 Men’s Basketball season.

What does he have waiting for him? Well, beyond the obvious questions on recruiting tactics, Fox Sports feels he has a top 15 program while Sports Illustrated is fairly more optimistic calling it a top 5 team.

Regardless, it’s good to have the coach returning to the program he helped build.

Matt Nathanson Live From Daryl’s House -

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Now, when we are talking about Daryl, we are talking about Daryl Hall!

Now, Confusingous is certainly one to plug the successes of friends, and he is happy that his friend (and fellow William Lawrence Camp alumnus), Matt Nathanson, after working hard and long (huh huh), has found increased acclaim.

Let it be known …

…that Confusingous wore his Petr Prucha (Rangers 3rd jersey) yesterday in protest of his trading and rememberance of his good times in a NYR sweater.

May he find the ice time he deserves under Gretzky’s eye. May he return to the Rangers when Sather is fired!!!!

Statement From Sean Avery …

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

STATEMENT FROM SEAN AVERY:

“I would like to thank Glen Sather and the Rangers organization for giving me the chance to resume my hockey career by affording me this opportunity with the Hartford Wolf Pack. I am looking forward to getting back on the ice, working my way back to the NHL and playing the game I love. While I appreciate the many interview requests, at this point in time, I would like to focus on hockey and will not be making any further statements while with the Wolf Pack.” – NYRangers.com
