Are you ready for Work Together Wednesday? I am—I can’t wait to build a fort with my kids!
At 51³Ô¹ÏÍø we’re gearing up to celebrateÌýWeek of the Young Child.â„¢ÌýFrom April 16 through April 20, we’ll join together with affiliates, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø accredited programs, families, and most importantly, YOU to spotlight the critical work of early childhood educators.
Since 1971,ÌýWeek of the Young Childâ„¢Ìýhas showcased the many ways educators teach and engage with young children. Every day, you find unique ways to bring creativity and problem solving into your programs and classrooms. You truly make a difference in children’s lives, and I believe the whole world should know about and celebrate the amazing work you do!
From Music Monday to Family Friday, I hope you’ll use WOYC as an opportunity to share your unique take on each day’s theme with children, friends, families, community, and colleagues. I can’t wait to see your ideas.
This is a vital time in the history of the early childhood profession. The brighter the light we shine on the work you do, the bigger the impact we can make in creating a profession that works for YOU. Thank you for inspiring the children you serve, your communities, and me. In addition, thank you for your membership in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Your commitment to your professional association helps us advocate on your behalf for the respect and wages you deserve. Spring is a time of change, and with your help we’ll make many positive changes this year!
